Sony’s dislike for importers was displayed yet again today as they made it obvious they don’t want PS3 units to be imported from foreign countries. This announcement is just a couple of weeks after Sony pushed Lik-Sang, formerly a large and well known importer, out of business by continued legal action.
According to industry magazine MCV, Sony lawyers have released a statement which warns import retailers that they will probably face lawsuits if they decide to export PlayStation 3 units.
This cuts down the hopes of many customers to get their hands on a PS3 this holiday season, while for many Europeans it cuts down the hopes of even getting a PlayStation 3.
